Description

Red, black and white represent the colors of the Trimurti, the three Hindu pantheons (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva). These colors also represent the sacred sounds: Ang, Ung, and Mang, which together form the sound Aum (Om).

In this drawing, the three forces (colors and sounds) are represented by three types of Barong masks: a foo-dog (barong ket) in the center, a boar on the right and a tiger on the left. All three barongs work together to preserve Balinese culture and tradition.
