Description
The dichotomy of opposites runs deep in the life of Balinese society. Positive and negative energy is symbolized by a gigantic banyan tree with two opposing sides. Black magic, lust and greed are examples of the negative energy. The right side of the tree shows some of the positive energy: learning, praying and caring. Life is all about balancing these opposite forces.
