Description
In this drawing, Dwi Artha critiques socio-political forces in Indonesia which in many ways assault the ideal of the national slogan: Unity in Diversity.
The PANCASILA are the five fundamental Indonesian ideological principles (PANCA – five and SILA – fundamental principles), represented here by the national coat of arms: a Garuda with shield bearing icons for these five principles. In this drawing, the PANCASILA are attacked from four directions by radicalism, illegal drugs, corruption and terrorism.
